Matt Lucas, David Walliams and Robbie WilliamsLittle Britain Comic Relief Special

Matt and David created an exclusive Little Britain USA (Ellie Grace) sketch starring Robbie Williams for Comic Relief on March 13th 2009. In another sketch the credit crunch comes to Little Britain and Carol Beer is summoned to her boss Dawn’s (Catherine Tate) office to find out if she is being made redundant.

Robbie Williams has returned to the limelight for the first time in two years with a public appearance to film a sketch for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day with friends Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
In 2005 he filmed a Little Britain sketch for Comic Relief in which he played an
Emily Howard-style transvestite. However this role sees him play an even more outrageous character, a little southern American gal called Candy Marie-Candy. Speaking about his return into the public eye, Robbie said: "It's the first thing I've done in two years in terms of either coming to a studio and being filmed in front of the cameras and actively being Robbie Williams so it was quite a big deal for me."

News of the World reports: Robbie Williams headed the shocking list. Escaping his hermitage for one night only, he achieved something David Walliams and Matt Lucas had failed to achieve in six episodes of Little Britain USA: A genuine belly laugh.

American girl Ellie Grace (played by Matt) has her friend Candy Marie-Candy (Robbie) for a sleep over, and while Mum (David) is cooking breakfast they begin to play a Game of “I love you more than...” with revealing “and hilarious” results.

Hello Magazine reports: Robbie's flair for comedy really impressed his co-stars, apparently. Referring to the 35-year-old's performance as "absolutely brilliant", David added: "He could be a comedian full time if he wanted to. And we've found the best way to tempt him back into the spotlight is by putting him in a dress".
